BLUSH: I've been addicted to blush lately so I have a few that I've been switching between this Month.

First up I've been enjoying both Cubic & Dame from my MAC Pro Palette.

Next up is NARS Angelika. From looking at this blush in the pan it looks a bit scary because it's filled with glitter. Once applied the glitter seems to disappear & leaves my cheeks with a natural sheen. Just make sure to powder your cheeks before applying this blush.

EYESHADOW: Ever since I got the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette it's the only thing I reach for. It's perfect for creating an everyday look as well as a night time look.

MASCARA: Maybelline The Rocket is one of those Mascaras that I wan't too crazy about at first, but after about 5 uses it started to dry a bit & now I'm really liking the formula.

First thoughts here

LIPSTICK: MAC Angel is one of those lipsticks that I can wear everyday no matter what eyeshadow or blush I wear. This is one that I will keep in my collection.

Maybelline Clean Express! Makeup Remover

*Waterproof eye makeup remover*

I was in need of a new eye makeup remover so I decided to give this one a try. 

PROS:

-It's ultra-gentle so therefore it didn't burn my sensitive eyes. 

-Not oily

-Took all my mascara off!

-Has to be shaken to activate the liquid

First phase instantly breaks up stubborn makeup while the second washes it clean.

CONS:

- Honestly none

OVERALL:

I will repurcahses

Maybelline The Rocket Express Mascara

This is Maybelline's newest mascara from the Volum' Express line.

I got mine in the shade "Very Black"

PROS:

-Super cute packaging

-LOVE the brush

- no weird smells

-Doesn't flake

-Doesn't clump

-Separates my lashes

-Also comes in waterproof

-Gives my lashes length! 

More than any other Mascara does.

CONS:

-The packaging claims to give "Explosive Volume, even from root to tip", but I didn't notice much volume.

OVERALL:

Even tho it doesn't give my lashes the volume it promises it gives them amazing length which I'm okay with. I can always layer this with a mascara that gives me a ton of volume.

  "The Falsies Flared" is still my favorite Maybelline Mascara.

Maybelline Color Whisper in "Lust for Blush"

I've read people comparing these to the Revlon Lip Butters so I knew I had to give it a try.

PROS:

-The packaging is nice

-Nice scent

-Moisturizing. Doesn't dry out my lips

-Applies easily

-Lasting power is average. Washes off once I eat or drink

CONS:

- This shade didn't work for me. My lips are very pigmented so this shade blended into my natural lips just giving it a little shine.

OVERALL:

I'm not going to completely write these off yet. 

I still want to try a darker color to see if I can get more color payoff.

Maybelline Baby Lips LE shade "PINK WINK"

I really wish this shade wasn't Limited Edition. This is by far my favorite from the Baby Lips line.

The color is a pretty baby pink with a bit of shine (you can see it in the above swatch). It's a very natural pink shade that can be used everyday. PINK WINK has a soft bubble gum scent to it. 

If you can find this one I strongly recommend that you pick it up. I'm going to get a couple backup's of this one.

Maybelline CAT EYES Mascara review

Color: Glam Black

I REALLY wanted to like this mascara because of the cute packaging unfortunately it just didn't cut it for me.

The packaging claims that it'll give you "Instant Volume" & No Clumps.

Pros:

- Didn't clump

-Separated my lashes

- The brush works good on the lower lashline because it isn't huge. 

Cons:

- Didn't add any volume. My lashes looked the same as before I applied my masacara, only darker.

-I know it doesn't claim to lengthen but my lashes were still "short".

- I had to add another mascara over this one to make my lashes look decent.
-Flaked a bit during application.

Unfortunately I already threw away my recent so I won't be able to return this.

Maybelline Color Tattoo "Bad to the Bronze"

I've been wanting this for the longest time & finally got around to picking it up. Over the weekend Ulta had Maybelline products B1G1 50% off so I decided to finally get it & a mascara (review to come).

I only have one other pomegranate punk. 

I love that they last forever without creasing. I think "Bad to the Bronze" would look perfect with a dark brown in the crease for a Daytime look & add a little black to the outer V for a night look.

Maybelline Color sensational in "Nude Nuances"

This is an limited edition lipstick from Maybelline's Porcelain Collection. After hearing that this is a dupe for Mac's Hue I knew I had to get my hands on it & I'm so glad I did. This is such a pretty nude color that can be worn along or with a gloss over it.

 The texture of this lipstick is very smooth & creamy.

 Leaves my lips really soft.

 Lasts until I eat or drink.

 I'm going to have to pick up a backup one before they go away.

 I can't wait to get my hands on a few other shades.

Maybelline Color Tattoo review

A few weeks ago I finally gave in & picked up a color tattoo cream shadow in "pomegranate punk".

The color appears to be really pretty & dark in the container with a hint of gold. I find that the pigmentation isn't as great once applied to my lid. In order to get it to look decent I have to add 3 layers. I honestly really like the color that it appears on my lid. My skin tone is fair & I can get away with using this as an all over lid color & use a light color on my brow bone & to even out harsh lines. I even tried to with a dark brown in my crease & it looked amazing. I will do a "FOTD" soon using this.  It claims to last 24 hours & while yes it does last over night it does smudge & fade a bit after about 12 hours, which in my opinion really isn't bad.

What I think?

-The scent fits the names, but it doesn't last long which could be a major plus to anyone who is sensitive to scents

-Not sticky. Nothing is worse than having your hair stick to your lips due to your gloss. These don't do that.

-Gives a slight tint, but nothing drastic. 

-Lasts about an hour before coming off (unless you eat or drink)

- Gives a nice shine.
