HIGHLIGHTER: Dior Amber Diamond. In the Winter my skin always looks so "blah", but this wonderful highlighter makes me look alive. Well worth the money!

BLUSH: I've been addicted to blush lately so I have a few that I've been switching between this Month.

First up I've been enjoying both Cubic & Dame from my MAC Pro Palette.

Next up is NARS Angelika. From looking at this blush in the pan it looks a bit scary because it's filled with glitter. Once applied the glitter seems to disappear & leaves my cheeks with a natural sheen. Just make sure to powder your cheeks before applying this blush.

EYESHADOW: Ever since I got the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette it's the only thing I reach for. It's perfect for creating an everyday look as well as a night time look.

MASCARA: Maybelline The Rocket is one of those Mascaras that I wan't too crazy about at first, but after about 5 uses it started to dry a bit & now I'm really liking the formula.

First thoughts here

LIPSTICK: MAC Angel is one of those lipsticks that I can wear everyday no matter what eyeshadow or blush I wear. This is one that I will keep in my collection.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. Swatches!

I own both  Naked & Naked 2 so I thought this would be a good addition. I'm not always in the mood for shimmer shadows so I know this palette will be loved on those days when I want a more subtle look.

There are 6 shadows...

1 shimmer - Verve

5 Mattes- Foxy, W.O.S., Naked 2, Faint, & Crave

As you can tell from the above swatches Foxy barely shows up on my skin so it can be used to blend out any harsh lines. Verve is a nice highlight color, while W.O.S and Naked 2 can be used as an all over lid color. Faint will work great for the crease & Crave will be the perfect definer color for the out "V'.

This palette is worth the $27!

Urban Decay Naked eyeliner set *review*

Included in the Naked 24/7 Travel-Size Set of 5: Bourbon (brown w/gold sparkle), Demolition (matte dark brown), Stray Dog (shimmery greyish brown), Underground (metallic taupe), Zero (zealous black)

My thoughts:

Glides on easily & highly pigmented

However, on two different occasions I applied it to my waterline & it only took 2 hours before it started to smear and fade. So I would only wear these to line my top lashes. I e-mailed Urban Decay about the problem I had with using them on my waterline & this is what I was told...

"Depending on how oily your skin gets is how long the 24/7 pencils will last on your skin. To prevent it from getting oily please use any of our De-Slick line or Primer Potions before applying your makeup and this will help the liners from moving or smudging. You can always finish off your makeup with the setting spray as well."

I'm not too thrilled about having to use another item on my waterline being that I'm scared my sensitive eyes will have an allergic reaction so I will just have to use these for the top lashes. So once again I'm on the hunt for the perfect liner to use on my waterline that will last more than a couple hours. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

My Thoughts:

Both Palettes feature "half baked" which I don't mind because that's one of my favorite shadows. Some of the shades are similar, but I'm a neutral shadow lover so I happy to have both palettes. The mirror is bigger, which I really like.  I love the lasting ability of these shadows & how pigmented they are. Overall Urban Decay has really shocked me. I can now say I like higher end makeup.

 I like the color of this gloss, but can't get over how minty it is. The smell is a bit overpowering.

I can't really review the brush just yet because I haven't tried it. I don't find it to be as soft as my Sigma brushes.
