Jesse's Girl palettes

I've been on the hunt for the Jesse's Girl 9 pan palettes. I went to the Riteaid closest to me & they didn't have them so I decided to go to the other Riteaid in my Town & I found them. They had all four but I only picked up two & plan on going get the other two this weekend & I'm picking up more sinful color polishes! =)

The packaging is pretty cute. I love their logo.

Tickled Pink:

The eyes have it:

The eyes have it & tickled pink

The other two are "brown eyed girl" & "behind blue eyes". These palettes consist of 9 colors.
Price: $3.99

First Impressions:
The colors appear to be really pretty inside the palette but using a brush to apply them doesn't really transfer the nice colors to my eyelids. The sponge works much better at picking up the colors. Also in my opinion I think these would work much better if you used a damp brush/sponge. I had a bit of fall out during application, but nothing major.

Look what I got in the mail Saturday!! It's from Bobbi's Brown's facebook page.

I really like this gloss. It's thick, but not sticky & I love the shine it puts on my lips.

Wet N Wild Comfort Zone palette

I won this palette from Miranda's giveaway.
Her blog is Live, Laugh, Love & Lipgloss. Check it out =)

Ever since I got this palette it seems like every time I do my makeup I reach for this. It's the perfect palette for me. The colors are highly pigmented, no fall out, & last without a primer.

I think everyone should has this in their makeup collection =)

I hope I'm not boring any of you with all these posts. Also if there is a certain post you would like for me to do please let me know.

Mark. makeup brushes *review*

A few weeks ago I was searching facebook for a Mark. Rep to see about getting samples. I was familiar with the brand, but had never tried it. Well I came across Geannie

I requested a few samples & Yesterday my package came in the mail. The package included face samples, 2 mini lipgloss samples, a lotion sample, a bodywash sample, perfume samples, & two brushes!

Today will be all about the brushes she sent. I used both of them in my latest FOTD/EOTD.
The eyeshadow brush works great at applying eyeshadow all over your lids. It's super soft & picks up a good amount of product so you get enough for your entire lid in just one sweep.

I been in need of a good powder brush & was completely blown away at how amazing this brush is. Just like the eyeshadow brush this one is also very soft. I used it with the smashbox correcting powder & it did a wonderful job. It applies the powder evenly & doesn't make a mess. I'm extremely very satisfied with this brush. I think everyone should buy it! :)

I looked on the site for prices..
Powder brush: $10
Eyeshadow brush: $8

I'm going to be reviewing the samples soon.

— in 6 intensely beautiful shades. (Via Covergirl.com)

First Impression:
I swatched it on my hand as can be seen in the above picture. I washed & dried my hands twice & it didn't even fade. I went to get my Daughter off the bus & trust me it was hot outside but it still didn't budge. I even took a bath & scrubbed my hand & I can still see a bit of pigmentation. I look forward to trying an eye look with this. I think it would look great with brown or even mixed with gold. I see a ton of possibilities.

P.S. I forgot to take a picture of the applicator, but it looks just light a lip gloss wand.

The above pictures doesn't show just how wonderful this mascara is. I'm completely in shock that I now have the mascara I always dreamed of! Sounds lame I know, but omg I love this stuff!

It's pretty easy to apply, just a lot of wiggling the brush. I love the end results my lashes were longer, fuller, & dark!

In the above pictures I was also wearing the WNW palette in Silent Treatment. I know it doesn't show up all that great but my main goal for these photos was to capture my lashes.

Swatchin' : WNW

I apologize in advance for the picture overload. I figured it would be better to do this post all together instead of separating it into 2 or 3 posts. I also apologize for doing so many posts lately. I just have a LOT to share with y'all.

Covergirl's natureluxe Mascara- Review

I played June Jumble on Covergirls facebook page & won a Natureluxe Mascara. I just received it Today after waiting over two Month's to get it.

WHAT COVERGIRL SAYS:
Discover splash resistant, luxurious volume that feels light as air. We took out a heavy synthetic and put in a light touch of nature. Just apply to create lashes that are luxurious and water-resistant.

SHADES:
Very Black
Black
Black Brown

I received Very Black

I like the brush alot. I think it works great at coating all my lashes & adding length & volume. It's also very light weight, doesn't feel heavy on my lashes.

I had a tiny bit of clumping, but its my fault. I didn't wait for it to dry in between coats. Thankfully I'm not going anywhere so I don't have to worry about that.

The pictures above look like crap =/ My camera decided to be annoying Today.

Overall: I do like this Mascara. It didn't blow my mine & isn't as good as I expected it to be but it't not completely horrible. It curled my lashes pretty good.

My thoughts:
I know that this Mascara has been around for 40 years but I honestly don't see what all the hype is about. It's okay if you want to add color & a little length, but if you want a more dramatic look then this isn't for you. I think I'll just use it as a bottom layer and put a coat of another mascara as the top layer to make my lashes looks fuller.

This isn't my first time purchasing this wonderful chapstick/lipgloss whatever you want to consider it. My love for this product started as a kid & all through my teen years this was my go to item to get my lips moisturized.

What I like about it:
Goes on smooth & creamy
has a nice glossy look
The aroma makes me crave one of those Frozen Dr. Peppers

It might seem a little kiddy but honestly this stuff works better than chapstick & carmex.

I been having it on my a couple hours & drunk a whole bottle of water & its still on.

S.X.Y lips

Last Month Payless hosted a few giveaways on their Facebook fan page & I was lucky enough to win two prizes.
I received the S.X.Y by unforgettable moments light-up lipgloss in shades "T.G.I.F" & "Raspberry Martini".

The packaging is pretty nice.

Top: T.G.I.F & Bottom: Raspberry Martini

The packaging has A mirror on one side

T.G.I.F is a pretty reddish color. I really like this one. It's probably my favorite out of the two. (I had trouble getting my camera to pick up the color)

Raspberry Martini is a fun bright pink color that is the perfect shade for the Summer.

Swatches: T.G.I.F & Raspberry Martini

PRICE:
Payless hasn't added these to their site yet so I can't give a price. I saw that Elizabeth Grant also has a similar product. Packaging is almost the same, features a side mirror, & the lid lights up. That one runs for 20 bucks. So I'm thinking S.X.Y should be 10 bucks or under.

PROS:
These glosses aren't drying, goes on smooth, color lasts through drinks, nice packaging, & I like the added mirror for touch ups on the go.

CONS:
I honestly don't like the light. I think it was a creative idea to add it, but in my opinion it makes the lipgloss harder to apply because of the glare.

OVERALL the colors are pretty & pigmented so I will continue using them.

Have y'all noticed that the pictures in my last 3 posts are kinda nicer than usual? Well I finally got around to playing with my camera & figuring out the settings =)

Sexy Curves Full body Mascara

Rimmel London sent me this Mascara to review on my blog. I received it free of charge. This review will be my honest opinion.

I also received two different shades of lipgloss. My review can be found HERE

WHAT IT IS: The pin-up girl of mascaras.

WHAT IT DOES: Puts curves in all the right places with the new TRIPLE PLUMP Brush that's oversized and created for women that prefer a fiber brush and more volume- up to 10X more. The unique Lasy Inflation Formula is designed to work in perfect synergy with Triple Plump Blush, It trasnforms lashes to voluptuous, oversized lashes. ANd the results are lasting- Sexy Curves Full Body Mascara delivers 70% voluptuous curls that last for up to 16 hours.

AVAILABLE SHADES: Black

WHAT IT COSTS: $7.49

WHERE TO FIND IT: Available at mass market retailers and drugstores nationwide imcluding Walgreens, CVS, Target, and Walmart.

- visibly up to 10X more volume & 70% curlier lashes

-Sexy Curves Full Body: Extra volume & shapely curved Mascara

- Supersized Triple Plumping Brush, reaches lashes from root to tip.
- Full Body Volume without the clumps
- Suitable for contact lens wearers & sensitive eyes

What Do I think?

PROS:
- Doesn't clump
- Curls my lashes, no need for an eyelash curler.
- lengthens my lashes
- Doesn't irritate my eyes

CONS:
- The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't give my lashes as much "fullness" as I would like, But the fact that it doesn't clump my lashes allows me to overlook that.

RATING:
9/10

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS:
Yes I would. I normally use a primer before using any mascara but when I tested this one out I didn't. My lashes still looked great but next time I'm going to use my primer & see if it helps to add more volume.

Overall I think Rimmel is a great company. Every product I tried from them I loved. The only thing I haven't tried yet is their eyeliner, but I plan to change that soon.
