Facial Products *REVIEWS*

Equate Apricot Scrub (left) & Neutrogena Acne Stress Control (right)

First I'm going to review the Apricot Scrub.
Blemish & Blackhead Control
Gently Exfoliates to prevent blemishes and cleanse pores
- oil free
- with 2% Salicylic acid
-with natural exfoliants
For oily or acne prone skin

My thoughts: I find that this scrub has a very rough texture. After using this my tub feels like I have sand all over, but it works! I no longer have black heads on my nose & my acne is finally under control.  This stuff does a great job at cleaning my face & getting rid of  the oil. Overall I really do like this product. It tends to leave my face a bit dry after using it so a moisturizer is a must.

Now on to the Toner:
Oil Free acne stress control triple-action toner
- Treats Acne even before it emerges
- eliminates oil & shine
- Refreshes & soothes

My thoughts:
It worked somewhat at taking the dirt out of my pores but I mostly bought this for the "shine control". After using this my skin was still oily looking.  It didn't help prevent acne, as a matter of a fact my face was horrible while I was using this product. Now that I stopped using it my face is getting alot better. The only thing I like about this is the smell. It's not strong like most facial products.

I got this in my Target Beauty Bag.
Pond's Wet Cleansing Towelettes
- evening soothe with chamomile & white tea
-Breathe deep and unwind.
A perfect end to the day. Pond's Evening Soothe Towelettes gently clean away all traces of dirt and make-up, while calming the skin and senses. These soft, textured clothes wipe away the day while releasing the relaxing fragrance of Chamomile and White Tea.
*Removes waterproof mascara
*Dermatologist tested
*safe for contact lens wearers.

My thoughts: First of all the scent is amazing and very calming. These wipes did a wonderful job of removing all my makeup easily. I usually use baby wipes, but honestly they would always burn my eyes. The pond's wipe are very gentle & I'm able to remove my eye makeup without causing my eyes to burn. My face feels soft and refreshed after using these. I will purchase a full size asap.

Colorstay VS. Photoready

Want makeup that is flawless and weightless for 16 perfect hours? Revlon has the solution - ColorStay™ Makeup with SoftFlex™.
Specially formulated for combination or oily skin, this oil-free formula helps control shine all day and gives you flawless looking skin.
Makeup looks fresh and feels great for up to 16 hours thanks to the lightweight, comfortable feel from the SoftFlex ColorStay™ formula.
Medium to full coverage, with SPF 6 protection

Revlon PhotoReady™ Makeup - for poreless, airbrushed skin in any light. Photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light to erase every flaw. Complete, yet undetectable coverage. Soft, luminous finish.
- Oil free
- Fragrance free
- SPF 20

My comparison:
I like that Photoready has a pump so it makes it easier to use unlike Colorstay.  I like colorstay's lasting power. I wore this foundation alot over the Summer & had no problems with my makeup melting off. Photoready lasts awhile, but not as good as Colorstay.  Photoready is easy to apply & goes on perfectly without leaving streaks. Colorstay in my opinion is very streaky & dries way too fast.  I like the coverage that both gives. I think Photoready makes my skin look better than colorstay. Overall if I had to choose between the two I would pick Photoready. I like how it makes me look in pictures & real life.

Maybelline's LOTS OF LASHES *REVIEW*

NOTE: I received this mascara from Bzz Agent to review.

NEWS FLASH FROM GREAT LASH
Let's face it -- beautiful lashes really do spice up your look. That's why the mascara experts at Maybelline New York took America's favorite mascara and gave it a modern-day makeover. Lots of Lashes features the new Great Little Grabber Brush, a heart-shaped applicator that lets you easily reach all your lashes -- even those pesky ones in the corners-- for a multiplied lash look with no clumps.  The results is stylish lashes with lots of impact, minus the mess. Nice!

APPLICATION TIP
To create your lush full-lashed look, sweep brush from root to tip of lashes.  Continue building volume by repeating until a stunning lash look is achieved.  And no need to let mascara dry in between coats!  At the end of the day mascara removes easily with soap and water or makeup remover.
 GREAT LASH LOTS OF LASHES:
*America's most iconic mascara brand introduces a new innovative applicator brush-- The Great Little Grabber!
*Easily reaches the inner and outer corners of the eye
*Builds your lash look with no clumps
*Available in three washable shades
*Available at mass retailers for $6.40

My thoughts:
This review will be my honest opinion.
Maybelline was very creative when they came up with the idea for this brush.  I often have trouble getting mascara onto the smaller lashes in my inner corner but this brush did a great job at grabbing ALL my lashes. The formula is great as well. I didn't have any smudging & the mascara isn't "wet" so you don't have to worry about it messing up your eyeshadow. I find that it added some length to my lashes but not enough as I would have liked. It's good for a more natural look, but if your wanting to go for a more dramatic look I would suggest putting a coat of Falsies Flared as a top layer. My eyes did appear to be alot wider, which I like! Overall I don't think this mascara is horrible. I look forward to get a few family members to try it out as well.

 Pink Punch

 Peach Kiss

 Cherry Me

 Peppermint

Quenched

What I think:
First of all how cute is the packaging? I love it! So unique & fun. Each of these balms smell like the name. Quenched smells like lemons in my opinion.  These balms go on very smoothly & leaves my lips soft. There is a natural pigment to them that adds a healthy shine to my lips. I noticed that these balms did reduce the appearance of lines. Not sticky! In my opinion these last a couple hours before needing to be reapplied (unless you eat or drink). This is a great item to keep handy. I will keep one in my purse for those long Winter Month's to help keep my lips from getting chapped & dry. These would also work great as stocking stuffers. My Husband even likes them (shhh) lol.  Overall Maybelline did a great job with these balms. I prefer these over chapstick, carmex, softlips, & eos.

These balms were sent to be from Bzz Agent to review. I did not purchase these with my own money. I will review the LOL mascara soon so look out for that post.

Zapzyt treatment gel *RAVE*

I couldn't get a good picture of my tube so I had to use the one off the site.
I got a free sample of this from liking their facebook page.

ACNE TREATMENT GEL

ZAPZYT Acne Treatment Gel is the strongest benzoyl peroxide gel available! It offers the same maximum-strength formula recommended by dermatologists, at a fraction of the price of prescription products. It zooms deep into pores where oil and bacteria live, killing bacteria and zapping zits, delivering the fastest results possible!
ZAPZYT Acne Treatment Gel is water based with 10% benzoyl peroxide.

My thoughts:
I love this stuff! I had a pimple on my chin so I put a small amount on it before bed and when I woke up the next morning the pimple was barely noticeable. I ended up applying more and by that night it was gone! I will definitely be buying this once my sample is gone.
