Flawless long lasting foundation routine

Hi Ladies just wanted to show you all how I've been applying my foundation to help it last all day in this Summer heat. Hope you enjoy :)

Step 1:
I apply my concealer first followed by my primer. Some may take I'm crazy for doing in this way but I find that's what works best for me.

 Step 2:
I spray my foundation brush with my setting spray until it's wet.

 Step 3:
Okay pay attention here. Being that your brush is wet only use half the amount of foundation that you normally would. I've been mixing these two together since one is too light & one is too dark. Being that the brush is wet you will have a dewy look.

Step 4:
If your not into the dewy look like me just apply whichever powder you'd like.

Step 5:
The fun part now you get to play with blush, bronzer, & highlight.

Ladies seriously using a wet brush really worked wonders for me! I use less foundation & my skin looks flawless. Most importantly I don't have to touch up my makeup during the day & it doesn't melt off.

Remember: You can use whichever  type of products work best for you. I just showed the ones that go with my skin type.

Zoya Shelby & Lara

  • Here's the other two shades I decided to get...
  • Shelby & Lara!
Shelby: Soft but colorfulcherry blossom pink
with an opaque cream finish. A light girly pink with enough tint to keep it from looking pastel or washed out.
Shelby Reminds me alot of Zoya's "Barbie". Shelby is a tiny bit darker than Barbie.
Took 2 coats & applied easily.

Lara:  Medium magenta-rose pink with subtle yellow undertone and a soft cream finish.
A soft shade, but with a candy-like pop of color to ensure that it doesn't look flat.
 2 coats & easy application.

I think both of these shades are such pretty shades of pink that any girly girl would love to have in her collection.

I used my Share the love point to get all three of these polishes for $15 plus free shipping.
They are all from The Beach Collection.

Zoya Wednesday

Here's Wednesday...
(Took 2 coats  & applied easy)

Faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish.
A very stylish shade with a funky yet easy to wear vintage look.

Maybelline Color sensational in "Nude Nuances"

This is an limited edition lipstick from Maybelline's Porcelain Collection. After hearing that this is a dupe for Mac's Hue I knew I had to get my hands on it & I'm so glad I did. This is such a pretty nude color that can be worn along or with a gloss over it.
The texture of this lipstick is very smooth & creamy.
 Leaves my lips really soft.
Lasts until I eat or drink.
I'm going to have to pick up a backup one before they go away.
I can't wait to get my hands on a few other shades.

Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in "Cherish"

After hearing all the hype about these I gave in & picked up one in the shade Cherish. The swatch at the end of this post makes it look like a really pretty pink color unfortunately due to the natural pigmentation of my lips this color doesn't show up on me in that shade, it's a bit darker. It does make my lips really soft & I love the minty scent but I wish the color would of appeared more like the actual color. The packaging is super cute.

What is your favorite shade?

wet n wild coloricon blush *Review & Swatches*

Wet N Wild makes some awesome blushes that won't break the bank. Only $2.99!
There's only four shades & I have three.
Keep reading for my reviews of each & swatches...

Heather Silk is a matte shade that gives my cheeks a nice pinch of color.
I like this one the most because there's no shimmer which works best for my skin.

Ah Pearlescent Pink! Such a gorgeous color full of shimmer.
Unfortunately for me all that simmer means visible acne scars.

Mellow Wine has a small amount of shimmer as you can see in the picture.
It's still wearable for me so that's a good thing.

Here's the swatches:

All of these blushes blend easily & can be layered to give you whatever type of look you want.
Overall these are some of my favorite blushes. I wish Wet N Wild would come out with more shades.

Wet N Wild coloricon bronzer in "Ticket to Brazil"

(The picture above actually looks a bit darker than what it really is)

After trying out Reserve your Cabana I knew I had to try one of the darker shades. I ended up choosing "Ticket to Brazil". I use this to contour my cheeks, forehead, & Jawline. I really like how pigmented &how  easy to blend it is. It doesn't cause me to breakout either. This shade works perfect for my skintone. If your a darker skintone then I would suggest getting "Bikini Contest".

There appears to be shimmer, but I don't notice any of it on face.
Which is good because it doesn't cause my acne scars to show on my cheeks.

I didn't blend the swatch so that you ladies could get an idea of what it looks like.

L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow *Review & Swatches*

L'oreal claims that these eyeshadows are 24 hour lasting hold. Also water resistant, crease resistant, & fade resistant.
With that being said here's what I think.
I'm not sure about the 24 hour hold because I don't wear makeup for that long but They did hold up for 12 hours. I had no problems with fading & creasing. Didn't have any fallout during application. I'm not sure about waterproof being that these were easily to wipe off my eyes with a makeup remover wipe. I had put buying these off but I'm really glad I gave in & bought them. Both the colors I picked up are beautiful shades That can be worn along or with another shade. Golden sage works great as an allover color while Smoldering Plum makes a great crease color. These are buildable so you can create whatever time of look you want.
I took a ton of pictures so I'm sorry that this post is photo heavy. I just wanted to show how lovely these shadows are.

Have you tried these yet? What are your favorite shades?
